I’ve learned a lot (this is an understatement) during my first term as a state legislator. One thing I learned is how enormously complicated and difficult is this thing called the state budget.

It turns out that the clergy representing Vermont Interfaith Action who came to talk to the governor this spring were right: a budget is a moral document. (more…)
