The use of fear

Fear-mongering is an age-old tactic used by leaders I suspect since the first bully realized he could terrify his cave-mates by exaggerating the dangers of the monsters on the other side of the mountain, where happened to graze a lovely herd of white-tailed deer.

It's a useful tool. Except when it isn't. Like when, for example, your cave-mates (more…)
